Rob May joined the firm in 2025 after practicing in Portland, Oregon since 1999.
Rob graduated from the University of Rochester (NY) in 1990 and Willamette University College of Law in 1997. Rob moved to the Eugene area in 2024 and currently serves on the Board of Directors of McKenzie Valley Long Term Recovery, a non-profit organization serving people and organizations in the rural and unincorporated McKenzie River valley area.
After graduating from law school Rob worked in the entertainment industry as associate general counsel for Live Nation concerts and entertainment. An active trial attorney, Rob has taken dozens of civil cases to verdict in the state and federal courts of Oregon and Washington. Rob has also served as counsel for several Oregon colleges and universities and spent several years as a guest lecturer at Willamette University College of Law. He is a frequent speaker at national and local organizations such as the CPCU Institute, Defense Research Institute, Loss Executives Association, Oregon Association of Defense Counsel and the Multnomah Bar Association.
Rob has written articles for several legal and industry publications, including the Oregon State Bar Insurance Law section on Insurable Interest, Defense Research Institute’s “For the Defense”, Claims Magazine and the Western States Summary of Insurance Law.
Rob is licensed to practice in Oregon, Washington, and the USDC Colorado.
